AEROSONIC CORP. Has Acquired OP Technologies, Inc.


OP Technologies, Inc., now the Display Products Group of Aerosonic produces the Flight Op series of cockpit display solutions for experimental general aviation and the Integrated Avionics System (IAS) for certified aircraft. Our display systems are considered the best in the aviation industry for their clarity, readability, and user friendliness. These cockpit solutions have the flexibility to be upgraded with new software to remain state-of-the-art tomorrow.

OP Technologies has also been involved with the NASA Small Airplane Transport System (SATS) program as a member of the Virginia SATS lab. We executed jointly funded research into cockpit displays to support Lower Landing Minimums from 2002-2004 and our displays with vertical landing profile views were used as part of the successful NASA SATS 2005 technology demonstration.
